In late spring of 2018, while working as a federal contractor, our founder identified a significant need to provide essential information about political issues and candidates to corporate employees who might not understand the reasons behind their leaders’ support for specific policies or candidates. Politically active individuals lacked a unified, fair resource that was accessible to everyone. Additionally, some people facing unstable housing situations were more focused on everyday living than on current political news. Creating a reliable public resource is crucial for encouraging citizen involvement in the important decision-making processes that impact their freedoms. By offering a platform where individuals can explore political matters and access vital information, we aim to empower all citizens—regardless of their background—to engage with the political landscape in an informed and effective manner. This vision inspired us to develop a user-friendly platform that consolidates all political meeting data, making it easier for everyone to participate in the democratic process.
